Free No-Hassle recycling.  Bring your recyclables to Fire Station #1 in Guffey and place them by the dumpster behind the station.

 

All recyclables must be bagged.

 

All recyclables listed below can be thrown in the same bag. Mark all bags with an "R" and put 3' - 4' from the trash.  Rinse out cans and bottles.

Acceptable recyclables are: Office paper, Paper board (cereal boxes, etc.), Newspaper, Brown paper bags, Junk mail & magazines, Aluminum cans, Tin cans, Empty aerosol cans, Glass bottles & jars, Plastics (#1 - #7).

Guffey School participates in the following fund raising programs:

Box Tops for Education – found on may of the products you already use including: desserts, breads, muffins and rolls, beverages, cereals, frozen foods, snacks, school supplies, paper products, refrigerated and dairy items.

Just clip and help our school by sending them in with a Guffey student, dropping them off at the school, or mailing them in care of the school to: PO Box 147 Guffey, CO 80820

Cartridges for Kids - CFK (Cartridges for Kids ® ) is a recycling program that pays schools and non-profit organizations CA$H for cell phones, empty laser and inkjet cartridges, laptops, iPods, PDAs, video games & consoles, digital cameras, DVDs and GPS devices.
